Jack Bauhs
Chicago born, Jack is an American Freelance Director, Producer, Editor & VFX Editor.
After moving from his hometown of Chicago, IL to pursue his film career, he entered into the prestigious Broadcast Journalism and Documentary major at Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. These studies allowed him to form a strong content producing background with a unique visual storytelling approach.
Blending hypnagogic visuals, cognizant emotion, with a strong expertise of editing, his versatility as a filmmaker has allowed to work with industry professionals such as Jeremy Irons, Peter Coyote, ESPN, Nepal Lions Club International Red Cross and more.
Since his start in 2015, Jack has gone on to produce varying projects from assorted films that include narrative, documentary, music videos and promotional videos. In 2020, he edited Nepal Beyond, a documentary with executive producer, Jeremy Irons and Narrator Peter Coyote. In 2018, Jack directed, produced and edited Chapman’s first virtual documentary, Parallax.
Through his experience, Jack has developed a unique skill set and expertise that shines through in his work.
